Payment Policy
We, at E-Homemaker Solutions India Private Limited and its affiliates are engaged inter alia in the business of providing modular furniture solutions under the trade name Casantro (“Casantro”). Casantro primarily caters to interior design firms, architects and/or any business entity (“you” or “your”). Casantro offers online and offline payment options to make your interior purchase hassle-free.
1. Online Payments
We accept online payments. We generate a dedicated and a unique bank account for each customer for ensuring seamless transactions. You may get in touch with your Key Account Manager in case of any assistance with respect to payment related queries. In case you need support you may check with your Key Account Manager.
2. Offline payments
To opt for this method, speak to your Key Account Manager. All cheques or drafts must be in the favor of E-Homemaker Solutions India Private Limited.
3. Payment terms for a Casantro Project
Booking Casantro: You can book your interior project with Casantro by paying a booking fee which is charged at 10% . The booking fee is adjusted against future orders.
Payment terms for a Casantro project are as follows -
10% of the tentative quote value for booking the project;
50% of final project value at order confirmation less the amount paid at the time of booking
50% payment prior to dispatch from warehouse
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All payments made are non refundable. In the rare event of unexpected change in plans, during the pre order confirmation stage, the payment may be adjusted against a revised scope.
Post order confirmation, no changes in scope can be entertained.
Cancellations - At Casantro, we endeavour to provide every partner, customer or user with the best experience. We do not have provisions for cancellations once booked.
Returns, exchange & delay penalty
Returns & Exchange
Pre order confirmation stage: Any product in the tentative BOQ can be replaced or removed while you're still discussing designs with your team i.e. before order placement
At order stage: Since each item is made to order, Casantro cannot cancel, replace or modify items once the order is placed. However, please be assured that your design team will always explicitly discuss all items with you before placing orders.
At the time of delivery, if you receive a damaged or defective Casantro product, or it doesn’t match our original specifications, Casantro gives you the following options for returning the product:
Rectify/replace the returned product
Exchange with another product. If the new product exceeds the order value of the returned product, you will be required to pay the extra amount. If the order value of the new product is less than that of the returned product, we will refund the extra amount or provide store credit, as applicable
Get store credit in your Casantro account, equivalent to the value of the returned product

Pre Conditions for return, exchange & refund:
Modular kitchens and wardrobes are made-to-order and cannot be returned or exchanged; and
Only manufacturing or transit damage cases will be considered under the return, exchange & refunds policy

What is the 72-hour inspection policy?
Expect no delays. Once you notify Casantro for a return request, we will make sure that a Casantro executive visits your site to inspect the product. If applicable, your return will be initiated in just 72 working hours.
B. When will I receive a replacement? When a return is accepted, the timeline for the replacement to reach you may vary from product to product. A Casantro representative will keep you informed at all times, and we will make all efforts to make your new product reach you very soon.
5. Delay Penalty
What is Delay Penalty?
Delay penalty is a discount offered to you when handovers are delayed for a period longer than 15 (fifteen) days after the confirmed Project Handover date* (as defined below) . Unless specified otherwise, this date is usually 60 days from the receipt of order confirmation payment or the design sign-off whichever is later. Delays in making a payment at any stage can cause a delay in the project completion. Casantro is not liable for any such delay. This date is communicated in the project schedule after all the sales orders are raised.
How much is the Delay Penalty?
In the event of delays in Project Handover (except snag rectification), you shall be entitled to receive a delay penalty equivalent to 0.25% (zero point two five percent) of the project value, per week of delay in Project Handover, subject to a maximum penalty of 3% (three percent) of the project value (“Delay Penalty”)
For instance, committed Project Handover date - 1st July 2024. Project value (net offer/ discount): INR 10,00,000/-. In this case, a penalty of INR 2,500 (0.25% of INR 10,00,000/-) per week (maximum of INR 30,000 -3% of INR 10,00,000/-) will be applicable in case of delay beyond July 16th 2024.
The term “Project Handover” shall mean the stage at which Casantro shall conduct a site walk through with you and provide the products in a functional state. In the event of discovery of any minor snags at the stage of walk through, such snags shall be rectified by Casantro within a period of 15 (fifteen) days from the date of handover Functional: The snags existing will not disallow a person from living in the premises
When is the Delay Penalty not applicable?
In case there are any design changes/ modifications after communication of date of Project Handover to you; this includes change in scope, addition of scope, reduction of scope, material changes, finish changes, aesthetic changes, functional changes, or any other changes that may result in a delay in the manufacturing, procurement or execution at site.
In cases where the scope of work is handled by you then the duration of execution of your scope of work will be taken into consideration to estimate the Project Handover date . This duration will be calculated based on the total number of days they require to complete their scope of work. Should the delay stem from your scope of work overshooting the budgeted days, or, any changes in the schedule of your scope of work, Project Handover date will be re-estimated and any delay penalty will be computed from the revised date.
Delay in access to the site, which results in delay in execution by Casantro scope of work.
Restricted access to the site, which results in delay in execution by Casantro/ Casantro partner scope of work.
Unavailability of consistent, uninterrupted power or water supply to the site during the execution phase will result in Delay Penalty not being applicable.
In case of non-payment or partial payment or any delay in payments as per the payment milestones caused by you, Casantro will not be held responsible for delays beyond the Project Handover date and, hence, delay penalty will not be applicable.
Delay Penalty clause will not be applicable if there is any dependency on you to provide approvals from any local authority and they fail to do so prior to the start of project execution.
Casantro shall not be liable to pay a delay penalty in case of any delay in production or delivery of products ordered from third party/marketplace brands (i.e. brands other than Casantro).
Force majeure, which includes, but is not restricted to:
Any act of god including natural disasters, floods, fire, earthquake, typhoon, cyclone or landslides.
War, riot, strike, lock-outs, hartal/bandh, accidents, power failure or shortage of fuel.
Any restrictions imposed by the central, state or local statutory/government authorities.
Any change in applicable law.
Any unforeseen supply shocks for raw materials and accessories.
Any unforeseen manpower supply shocks.
Any other unforeseen circumstances/causes beyond the reasonable control of Casantro.
In case of any force majeure event, Casantro will duly inform you of the delay arising out of such force majeure event within a period of 72 (seventy-two) hours from the occurrence of such event(s) or from the time Casantro has become aware of the occurrence of such force majeure event(s), whichever is later.
